The Leisure Institute of Western Australia (Aquatics) is a non-profit organisation that has been providing support, professional development and networking opportunities for individuals who are involved in the aquatic industry throughout Western Australia for over 40 years.
LIWA Aquatics strategic plan has been developed with a focus on the following key strategies to ensure that the industry in Western Australia is engaged and consulted on a wide range of issues:

The LIWA Aquatics Executive Board consists of a wide range of industry professionals including local government officers and private sector individuals who manage both large and small metropolitan aquatic and regional recreation facilities.
LIWA Aquatics works closely and has long term partnerships with Future Now, the Royal Life Saving Society, the Department of Sport and Recreation and the Western Australian Health Department. The Institute is involved in a range of research projects that impact on the operation and long term sustainability of the aquatic recreation sector including:
