At the recent Department of Sport and Recreation Active 09 Conference delegates were provided with an update of the Water and Energy Efficient Aquatics Centre Project.  The project aims to develop an interactive tool to assist the industry make best practice decisions on how better to manage our resources and reduce our carbon footprint. 

Initially the project will focus in the area of water usage in the facilities and then it is hoped to extend the project into the areas of power consumption.  Dr Dave Deeley has been engaged by LIWA Aquatics     to manage this project on their behalf and prepared this presentation for the Conference.
