By 1 January 2010, all Chlorine store placards will need to be updated to reflect the amended classification. Other placarding for Chlorine Stores remains the same as per AS 2927: The Storage and Handling of Liquefied Chlorine Gas. Orica is in the process of upgrading EIP panels and labels on Chlorine Gas Drums and Cylinders. As Orica has a large circuit of drums and cylinders there is a provision under ADG7 to allow for containers to be transported with the old EIP panels until 31 December 2010 to allow the transition. The new placards are now available from Royal Life Saving at a cost of $44 GST included call 9383 8200
