The final report of the three year aquatic industry research project funded by the Department of Sport and Recreation is now complete. As you can see it not only compares pools in their regions but also by the type of facility and the services they offer to the community.

There has been a real focus on water use in our facilities this year and as you can see there is wide ranging variations on the amount of water used per patron in the south west to that of patrons in the north west. The report makes very interesting reading and a great deal of thanks goes to LIWA Aquatics Life Member Peter Leaversuch for all his hard work in compiling the report on behalf of the Institute and the Department of Sport and Recreation.
