Two young Lifeguards at Beatty Park needed to use all the in-house Lifeguarding and First Aid training skills they had gained when they rescued and subsequently saved the life of a teenage boy found unconscious in the lap pool.  The young man suffered from shallow water blackout whilst attempting to swim the length of the 50 meter pool under water.
