Answer

Q.  When I do a pool test for Free Chlorine, the water sample remains clear or has a very faint tinge of pink? What could be the possible causes?

A.  The Pool Water could contain too much chlorine.  Perform a 1/2 water sample by tipping out 1/2 of the made up sample and refill with fresh water.  Re-test then double the figure, this will give you the Chlorine PPM in the pool water.  If the water is still clear then the pool water most likely has no chlorine in it.
