Do I have to send off a Pathwest Water Sample prior to startup if I have maintained my water quality throughout winter?

If you have maintained water quality and clarity during the off season and have had regular monthly testing done by your EHO then a Pathwest test is not required prior to startup and opening.
5.5 of the Code states; that 'you must, as an operator, ensure water clarity is maintained to prevent algae growth'.
- 'The facility shall receive sufficient maintenance to ensure they do not give off objectionable odours, become a breading ground for insects, or create any other nuisance or safety hazard'.
- 'Maintenance of other water parameters is not required during the off season', but, in this instance, a Path West start up test must be done.
